Adriane Matkovich

Originally a mechanical engineering major, Adriane Matkovich earned her associates in science but decided not to pursue engineering further.  Instead, waited to continue her education and went to work.  She also traveled, visiting Guatemala, Portugal, Djibouti, Ethiopia and Kenya.

After living and doing international aid work in Africa for two years, she decided to return to school to study photojournalism. She graduate from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in May.
